2012 EUROPEAN TOUR
We're going on a Wild Goose Chase. Summer 2012
We would love to hear from any groups or individuals who would like to get involved either by hosting, organising workshops or coming along for the ride.
Wild Goose was founded in 2006 by community artist Joshua Simpson. Since then we have run hundreds of creative projects for community groups, charities, churches, festivals and schools across the UK and internationally.
Vision and Values
"The vision for Wild Goose is to enirich and inspire the lives of communities and individuals through creativity.
My aim is to support existing community initiatives through providing quality arts activities and exhibits which enhance the work they are doing. Wild Goose is about providing opportunities for all people to experience and share in creative processes that are enjoyable, uplifting, empowering and thought provoking. It is also about creating a platform to connect with others, to share ideas and to build friendships."
Joshua Simpson
Joshua Simpson - Creative Director
Joshua studied Fine Art at John Moores University in Liverpool. He Graduated with a 1st class degree in 2008 and has been running Wild Goose since 2006.
"I have always loved creativity. I love turning a thought in my mind into a living reality, whether that's through making, painting or performing it doesn't matter. It's about expressing myself and I get a real buzz out of it. That's what i want to be able to share with others."

Devised Theatre, Interactive Instillations, Drum Rythems, Puppetry and much more...
For us theatre is not about stages, scripts and lines of chairs. Our theatre projects are about exlporing, communicating, and engaging with people. We look for new ways of interacting with audiences in unlikely places with a fusion of spoken word, movement, sound and visual art.
In our workshops we work with participants to develop orrigional and site specific works of theatre, devising, rehersing and making every thing we need.
Juggling, Unicycling, Stilt Walking, Flow Arts, Diablo, Flower Sticks, Plate Spinning and more...
Circus skills workshops are great for any event with kids and adults alike. We teach a wide range of skills through demonstrations, games, activities, group work, one on one tuition and performing.
We run drop-in workshops, introductory workshops, advanced workshops and regular circus clubs. We also run making workshops where participants can learn how to make there own equiptment. Workshops are suitable for all ages and abilities.

MORE THAN SPARROWS
Wild Goose is moving to Mainland Europe from June 2012. We will be travelling by thumb, bike and van; running workshops, exhibitions, seminars and performances as we go. We want to share creativity, life stories and ideas with communities and individuals all across Europe.
"The theme of this tour is: 'More Than Sparrows.' When I was Hitchiking to Germany this summer I was inspired by what Jesus said about our value to God. "Not one [sparrow] will fall to the ground with out my father knowing... [and] you are worth more than many sparrows." (Mathew: 11v31) For me this tour is about going on adventure and taking Jesus at his word beleiving that He will look after me in every way. If we do nothing else we want to communicate this truth: You are more valuable then you can ever imagine."
We would love to hear from any groups or individuals who would like to get involved either by hosting us or by having us come and run a workshop, seminar, exhibition or performance in your area; this may be a one off event or over a longer period of time.
